I was introduced to this movie on a lark some time ago and for some reason it's just been stuck in my head since then. I've been trying to get a hold of it for quite some time now. And then, randomly (like incredibly random), I find it. At a bargain price too. Yay.
So I buy it on Sunday.
I watch it on Tuesday.
It turns out director Satoshi Kon died on Monday.
An interesting and tragic turn of events for a movie about interesting and blessed turns of events.
